Your Blogrush Story
Have you tried out BlogRush? I have been trying it out but so far I don’t like it. I am not here to bad mouth it and don’t recommend that to anyone. What I do want to know is any results you have had with it?
Please share your BlogRush story.
When I first started using BlogRush I received a good chunk of traffic to the site. In fact I received thousands of hits in a few days. But slowly traffic began to drop traffic and now BlogRush has dropped to only 2 or 3 hits per week.
JohnChow, Problogger, and Shoemoney are dragging
Johnchow.com and problogger.net sure have been very boring lately. Shoemoney has been a tad better but altogether these 3 top blogs have been a drain.
Darren is of course a friend and with his recent sale of his house and other things going on I am sure he will snap out of it in a few weeks. Johnchow has been a downer with nothing exciting and who knows what is going on there.
I can’t wait till they all get over the end of summer doldrums or whatever it is and start hitting it hard again. Moremerchant to me has also been a bit of downer the past couple of weeks.

Upcoming Southern California Trip
I am going to be gone for a few days. I will post almost everyday during the trip I am taking to Southern California. First I fly into San Diego for 2 days at Point Loma, then I will drive up to Los Angeles and stay in a hotel near Long Beach.
I am doing a pretty cool marketing trip and will be meeting quite a few people. It should be a blast.
I will be posting as I said above so keep reading.
Mint.com is Now Open
Mint.com is now open for business. I was one of the first people to try it out and it is pretty neat. It has some troubles with various banks and credit cards but overall it is a cool program. Fun for sure.
You have to give them all your private info and access to your bank accounts, and credit card accounts. Other than that Mint.com is a fun tool.
They try to sell you on various “money saving ideas”.
Give it a shot if you are not scared about the possibility of losing your private personal information. it is neat how it tracks it etc. It simplifies some tracking. It will also try to tell you how much you spend on gas, groceries, entertainment etc. It isn’t 100% correct but it is ok.
So far i won’t use mint.com very often but it was fun to be a beta tester for mint.com.
I will continue to review mint.com as updates happen. Have you signed up for mint.com? what do you think? What are the pros and cons?
