What is Google Merchant?
Google Merchant Center is a tool that helps you upload your store and product data to Google and make it available to Google Shopping and other Google services.
What does it take to begin at Google Merchant?
In order to use Google Merchant Center you must first sign up for an account with Google (Gmail account)Â Â to get started.
If you do not already have a Google account then you can Create an account. Follow the prompts on Google to create a new Google Account.
When you sign into Google Merchant Center with your Google Account for the first time, you will be prompted to complete the following:
- Configure your account and select a location
- Agree to the Terms of Service
Once you have the Google Merchant account, you then need to enter:
Website Information
Add a Website URL, and include the full domain name. You will have to verify and claim your website URL in your Google Merchant Center account settings. Any links that you include in your feed must match the domain you’ve registered.
If you have more than one domain for which to submit items, you can set up a Multi-Client Account.
Business Information
- Store name is required and must conform to the Google Merchant Center Store name guidelines.
- You can provide your business address and phone number here.
- The country or territory that you selected when you created your Google Merchant Center account cannot be changed.

This book has some good topics such as :

Suggestions for preventing criticism from dragging you down.
It is not a tough read, and will be helpful for many people that apply the principles given by John Maxwell.
If you read other books by Maxwell, you will quickly note that much of this content has been rehashed. So if you want a refresher or haven’t read others, this may be a great way to freshen up and keep your nose pointed up.
I give it a 4 out of 5.
