My score has ranged below 100,000 the past little while although today it bumped up a bit. Is my traffic less than someone that has a ranking of let’s say 80,000? Quite possibly. Although I prefer to think my readers are a bit smarter. They choose to not download Alexa. Who knows.
I do know that IF I installed Alexa I could get better Alexa rankings. So if you want a better Alexa score install Alexa, otherwise screw with it. To me it is has almost zero value. Which is more than Google Pagerank. Google Pagerank is trash now with Google’s mess. So if you want an Alexa ranking below 100K I bet you can get it by installing your own Alexa surf bar.

I could, but the real way is to get more traffic to your site. That is the way to rank high (low) in Alexa. Work hard, make a quality site and the people will come. Your Alexa rankings will go through the roof.
