YPN Correcting Click Payouts

Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) who recently scammed all their publishers to help their bottom line so their stockholders will be happy have now reversed the trend. The rates which dropped almost overnight are now coming back to normal payouts.

I sure hate it when large publicly traded companies play games like this and I think in the long run publishers will look for other alternatives and not come back if YPN continues these time of dirty tricks.

Publishers are people who depend on their earnings. Just like you wouldn’t give an employee a 75% pay cut for a week only to give it back to him after you have made some extra money from his work. It is UNETHICAL!

This is very true. What happens to the people who solely depend on their blog/sites income. This is just isn’t fair.

  2. Yeah, unethical. But the sad thing is people will still continue to use YPN. I wanted to change to them from AdSense but when I read about YPN, I’m gonna stick with them for a while.

Adsense is a good place to start. I like YPN but it is only available to US publishers. It may be available to Canada as well although I don’t recall.

midomssh, I would recommend adsense but I am not an expert. I could also see adsense already in your blog.
