Who Helps YOU Make $$ – WIN $50

On November 26, 2007, in Blogging, Featured, Make Money on Web, Misc, by MoreMerchant

Win $50 from Jake RinardI was going to do a poll on what blogger actually helps you make money. I thought about listing some of my most visited sites such as Problogger, JohnChow, Shoemoney, JohnCow, etc.

I started thinking about the poll and wasn’t fond of the thought at this point. Problogger is really the only site I feel focused on helping bloggers make money. The others are quite different. So comparing apples and oranges doesn’t help us.If we get 20 different people commenting on this I will have Darren Rowse or John Chow pick the winner. Winner gets $50. Quick and easy. My little way of saying Thanks.Update: I will need to close this tonight at 10pm (Central) 11/17.

So, Who Helps YOU Make $$?. Let me know who, how, what… anything you want. I would love to hear of some new guys as well as the traditional picks.

Can’t wait! What i like about this is that even the pros are still learning. If not they will lose their spot sooner or later. Technology is always changing and this even the pros look to others for tips!

So if you are steady reader or have gained insight, give a shout out for someone today. If someone has helped you make $$, here is your chance to say thanks!

I’m not sure who actually “helps” me make money based on their websites. I’ve been to a lot of popular blogs but I try not to take after them. And there’s SO many sites that have helped me in more ways than one… but I’m going to randomly pick http://tremium.jlu.jp/ because it’s more of a low-key money making site which I have recently discovered. Lots of interesting news BESIDES the typical “how to make money online” things.

But that’s my pick IF I could only choose one. I would have picked moremerchant.com but that would make me look like a suck up. But if I’d win, that’s my choice! LOL!

    What money?!

But I do like this helpful site http://hackwordpress.com/ among others

I think the best site is Problogger He teaches you something, and motivates you. I dont think I have ever learn from the other sites, but they are all worth checking out.

Darren has been a huge help. Another blog that is fantastic for valuable information is Brian Clark’s blog Copyblogger.
    http://www.copyblogger.com/
It has some really great stuff about copywriting and writing in general.

    James,

Jake is asking which website helps you to make money. I don’t think that Problogger helps with that. I know he’s helping with techniques to enhance your blogging which leads at the end to getting more visitors = more money, but I don’t see him like giving tips on how to make more money out of your websites.

I’d go with John Chow although he rarely posts about making money techniques, but he has a cool eBook about that and I’ve found it very very useful.

Let’s change this up a bit. Instead of just making money…

Any site that you are Thankful for (help, tips, anything). How is that? I will start it,

Darren got me back into blogging after a brief hiatus a few years back. Thanks http://problogger.net

Thanks to http://JohnCow.com for adding some fun back into the blogging world.

I use sites that pay you to post reviews, then do that across 10 blogs. $5 each site multiplied by 5 equals fifty dollars across the board…it’s hard though, with quality of posts dropping for incentive based posts.

  8. Czecho says:

I feel most inspired by Problogger, at least I feel that he tries to help people. I try to follow his advice and have begun to make some $, a little anyway.

  9. Joe says:

My own site, of course. Just kidding. I’d say that the most helpful site is probably Problogger. Other sites make a lot of money but just don’t put the information out there like Darren does.

  10. Hey hey,

I didn’t make a dime until I quit reading make money online sites and started spending all that time testing different ideas. Ok, maybe I made a dime or two before that, but hardly anything at all.

Those sites were great to get me a running start, but after 5-6months or so my time is better spent testing ideas.
