Invest in Tax Liens
Investor big on the tax liens by percentage of interest they are willing to accept. Often times the lowest bid gets the certificate or deed. Different states set the interest on the tax liens differently but what I am told is that people are often averaging 12 – 20% interest annually plus fees.
Over the coming days I will be researching these some more and give you the quick and easy investing guide to tax lien sales. I looked into tax lien sales myself last year. It seems incredibly profitable and Amazon lists several good books on the topic. My only concerns were that firstly it almost looks too good to be true and secondly if you’re based outside the US it is harder to get to the auctions of course. I will be interested to see how you get on – keep us updated
