OK, stop the whining. It is time to grow up. You can’t afford to pay your bills? Why not? If you haven’t had a major medical incident, or a lay-off or something of similar nature then why not?
There are very few reasons you shouldn’t be able to pay your bills. Be an adult, suck it up, get another job and get your debt paid off. I am tired of excuses in life.
We are creating a culture of excuse. This excuse culture is ruining us as a country and a world. I am not seeing it in people’s kids. Remember your kids will not only practice what you live, they will magnify the problems.
So suck it up and as they say, “Be a Man About It.”

- sucking in woods to pay debt

I love this post. I wish more people would adopt this attitude. I was laid off for 18 months back in 2003 and as you can imagine wracked up some staggering debt. And do you know what I’ve been doing for the past 3 years? Working 60 hours a week at my regular job and more recently putting in probably another 20-30 hours a week building an online income. I’ve paid down a good portion of my debt during that time, rebuilt my credit which was destroyed during the layoff and built some protection for the future. There’s no way I’m gonna get stuck in the same position again should another layoff come down. Let’s go people, get off your lazy whining butts and pay down that debt.
Thats a good spirit to enhance in yourself to pay off the damn bills!
