I was thinking about some friends of mine recently and trying to figure a way they could make ends meet. They are really struggling with finances and seem to be trying very hard, but life is just expensive right now.
How can our society make it easier for everyone, I wondered? We have lived a pretty easy life now for a couple of generations. Life is plush. Life has been ripe with opportunities.
When life is so good for so long it is hard to think of ways to make it easier. What I mean by easier is, a life that is simple. If there is an economic downturn for all of society or on a smaller scale for an individual family, how can life be easier?
This line of thought led me to wonder if we could share. Truly share with one another. Why does every garage on my street need a lawn mower, weed eater, edger, and all the other lawn tools?
I bet we all know a family that can’t afford lawn equipment, possibly a single mom needs you to not only lend your equipment but to volunteer to take care of her yard all year! For FREE. Just be a good neighbor and share what you own, including your time.
Now onto cars, can we begin sharing cars? What about trips to the grocery store. Any other ideas out there? How can we become a society that shares and doesn’t waste so much while helping others.

Always good to help out when you can. Spreading good karma is a sure way to get some. That’s our treasure in this world, when we can think of other’s above ourselves, actually give something rather than buy or take and spread the love.
A good idea in regards to sharing the lawn equipment, I am not sure if sharing cars in the neighborhood would a good idea, could run into some trust issues lol.
