Pagerank Changes
If you have heard that Pagerank is being updated you are correct. Pagerank drops seem to be the thing so far.
The good news for MoreMerchant.com is that it hasn’t dropped. The pagerank for MoreMerchant.com is a 4. We were hoping for a 5, but with drops for many other sites this means MoreMerchant.com basically got a pagerank increase.
I don’t think we are done. Most new sites have not updated, so this will be where the effect is felt. If the normal pagerank is now a 2 then a 3 and 4 are now the old 5 and 6. Do you get what I am saying? 3 is the old 5. 4 is the old 6.
Of course at this point it is to early to tell how it all pans out. But you heard right, Pagerank is finally going down and it looks like Google has started a war on all people trying to make a living on the net. It may be time to switch to Yahoo.

Google’s reputation was on the line as a service, Their algorithms has been played with for far too long. so they applied the Google pressure. Should be interesting to see how things will shape up few month down the line.
Google cut Adsense earning to keek its earnings up to Wall Street estimates. Now they started a war agains people making some money online.
Google wants to be only one making money online, and cutting adsense publishers’ earnings, which makes one third of its revenues is nothing than shooting in its own foot.
Google just made its own unique program completely useless. What the heck was the point of that? We been following crap since 2000 aparently then? This is too stupid. Also why switch to Yahoo, why not Live.com and Ask.com?
What’s the big deal about PageRank? I actually don’t understand how it affects a website. PageRank is what Google deems its importance is based on how many websites links to yours and the quality of those websites in relation to yours.
As far as I can see it’s an indication of 1 company’s take on the popularity and quality of your site as it relates to people who search on a particular topic.
How does this translate into money though?
