Negative Blogging versus Positive Blogging or somewhere in the middle?
Recently More Merchant has taken on more of a negative feeling. Has it been negative? No, but normally it is 100% positive and thus any deviation seems like I have gone off the deep end and are slit-your-wrist depressed.
No-No I am not depressed. I wrote something about what I saw as a bit fraudish and I strive for 100% honesty on the net so it rubbed me wrong. I wasn’t trying to be negative, but this makes me think of something.
Does being positive all the time hurt a blog? Should one actually be negative a little? I would hate to go to a blog that is anti-everyone all the time, but should one question? It comes off as negative but in all reality it is just challenging others.
So can you help your blog by being a bit negative or should you be positive all the time?

Hello,
Good question. I suppose one could choose only topics about which one had nothing but positive things to say. here is that style. A blog which has a variety of tones, or is negative occasionally comes across as more human which is more personal. I think this is a plus in the short run, and in the long run, how does anyone’s positive tome mean anything if there is nothing contrasting? I think it becomes hollow, and probably bland as well. Integrity may require being critical at times.
If one has a thematic content which is say, something like “bringing the best of ‘x,y, or z’ to one’s readers,” then all-positive has integrity because all but what you blog about is impliedly criticized!
There are my thoughts on your question. Great site, just keep it up.
