I have a niche blog on a subdomain. The niche has really taken off and done nicely. It makes me around $1000 per month without even trying (Yahoo Publisher and Google Adsense only). As part of my yearly goals I have decided to move this to its own domain and better monetize the site.
There are a handful of tutorials on the net on how to migrate a WordPress blog to a new domain. There seems to be many different ways to accomplish this migration. As I complete this switch from the old subdomain to its own domain I will walk you through the steps to move a blog to a new domain.
