Have you ever signed up for an affiliate site so that you can purchase with a discount? Some companies such as Amazon don’t allow this. Some companies say it is ok. What do you think?
I use affiliate sales all the time and am beginning to dabble in selling some things myself through affiliates and I don’t see the problem. The profit is already in there and if a companies product is good then affiliates are more likely to promote it if they believe in it.
For example let’s say you buy a book titled Make $500 a day with Adsense in 30 days. You read it, like it, try it and see that it works. Now aren’t you much more likely to recommend it? If this was my book I would gladly pay you the 8 – 12% affiliate fee for your own purchase! You see word of mouth is what it is all about.
The companies that say this is in violation of their policies need to rethink this policy. If you are one of my affiliates please use your link to purchase! In fact come straight to me and I may give you a bigger discount. I know my product is good, and I want it in your hands!

I see nothin wrong in promoting through affiliates programs. But the ethical practice should be only to promote what you believe and are convinced about that
product being good for your readers..
Your views Jake?
Thanks
