I am going to cover the steps on how to start a blog. Now there are various ways to begin blogging. Some would recommend a free service like Blogger, or Xanga. This is a very easy way to begin. You sign up and start posting. This is a free way to begin blogging. You can try it out and see if you like it before plunking down a dime.
For anyone looking to possible make money or put anytime into blogging at all I do not recommend the free way mentioned above when starting a blog.
What I normally recommend to those who want to start a blog is to spend a few bucks. Purchase a domain and then find a webhost that offers fantastico.
Fantastico is a tool that makes the installation of many programs such as WordPress as easy as a click of a button. You are not probably spending $8.95 per year on a domain and most likely less than $10 for web hosting. Pretty cheap to start your own blog.
Do I really think that blogging is that simple? Well yes and no. It is that easy to start a blog. Now comes the hard part. Sticking to it. Posting on a regular basis even though it may take weeks or even months before people start showing up to your blog.

Myself I though Budget would be the first consideration as some of us couldn’t afford to get a Domain or hosting right away

Yep, starting the blog is easy.The commitment to post on a daily basis is hard for most people. Also, make sure to host the blog your self.Why take the risk of losing your blog just because blogger don´t like your content.
Do you know there are 70,000 new blogs each day but most of the blogs will be abandoned after 1 month or 2 two. People expect too much and too early from an online business. I have read an article saying that with the blogging world being saturated right now, it would take at least 2 years for a blog to earn an substantial income, and even longer if you want to quit your full time job. My expectation now is to have a few extra bucks each month to cover the gas cost for my family traveling. That’s my goal for now. Quitting my day job is a dream but I don’t put too much hope into it for I know the work and the effort (and a little bit of luck) involve in building an online business.
