What do you think? Give us your take on blogging and how easy it is.
Is blogging worth it? The internet is getting filled with blogs and other websites. Many people are seeing dollar signs, and want in. Blogging is seen as easy money. They see people like Darren Rowse and John Chow, and think that it was easy.
What they forget is that Darren put in months after he was laid off, while his wife supported him. It was tough, long hours and it did pay off for him. How many has it not paid off for? The number rises each day. When people think that it is going to be easy and they will see a large pile of cash next month they are fooling themselves.
I myself have worked countless hours in blogging since 2000. I have not made as much as some, but I have made much more than the average. I count myself as a professional blogger, almost able to be full time and for many my income from blogging is far greater than working. The question though is “Do I recommend it for everyone and how easy is it?”
Well I have already told you how easy it is. It will take months before you see any real amounts of money. It is definitely not laborious , but it is not quick. You can’t blog for one month and cash in.
Do I recommend it? Not to everyone. In fact if you are not motivated, a self started, and can stick to things without quick results than this may work for you. But, don’t count your chickens just yet.
Blogging can be hugely successful. It can also be great for that person that needs an extra paycheck each month to make ends meet. You can make it work, but it will not be easy.

As to technorati there are millions of blog, but few percents can survive upto one year. The main reason is what you told us blogging is not a hard working job, but requires your patience, your time, and dedication.
When I started blogging, I was not sure that I can take it as a regular hobby or a good time pass. But now after one year, I am more dedicated and in a sense addicted to blogging. Because in simple words I enjoy it.
The other good motive is that I made some money from it and I am spending that money for creating new blogs. I hope to make more money from my blogs.
Right, persistence is key.
8 months of blogging and I’ve learnt a lesson: Blogging isn’t that easy.
