Reader’s Question:  My credit score is rough, when I am trying to buy a car I am being told I will have a very high interest rate.  I need help.  What can I do to make my credit better?

Answer:  Improving your score will take time, but there are some things you can do to make it better faster.  You need to get a copy of your credit report.  When you do this you can see what should not be on there.  You will be shocked at how many things are not correct on the report, and they are almost always against you, which will make your score worst than it should be.  So step #1 get your credit report today.

Get a FREE copy of your credit report with your FREE 30-day CreditCheck® trial. You’ll also get credit alerts, info on disputing items on your report, and more.

When you get this, which should be rather quickly, in fact you can get it online.  Start disputing things.  If it is not 100% true, dispute it.  This will take off 40 – 80% of negative credit reportings within a short time.  Now make sure you do this.  click the link above and try out the free trial.  This info you are reading is priceless.  People do this for a living and make hundreds of thousands a year off of what I am telling you.  So take the time now and order the report.  Click here for the free credit report offer.

Now give it a short time, and your credit score will br going up faster than you can blink an eye.  Dispute again if you need too.  Keep the letters and resend them to save yourself time.  This is easy stuff, and it is saving you money.

Now as your score goes up, try getting a credit card.  nothing large, and do not abuse it.  Give yourself a fair shot, and get a small amount on a credit card.  Pay it off, and this will get your score up fast!   Get great credit card offers by going here.

This will not work. Why? No lending institution will give you a loan while items on your credit report are under dispute. Don’t believe me? Call a bank or loan company and ask them before you dispute something on your credit report. Also, your credit score will NOT go up while items are being disputed. It will only change after the dispute has been resolved in your favor.
