Lately Jeremy Shoemaker from Shoemoney.com has been doing more and more free shirt Friday’s. He gets a shirt, does a post and send a link back to whoever sent the shirt. This week it was Adcenter. That is pretty cool. A win-win.

John Chow often receives free things and gives them away on his site. He returns by giving some really nice publicity.

We all like getting free things like t shirts and other things. We also like publicity great sites like Shoemoney and JohnChow give. I haven’t ordered any reviews or sent any t shirts just yet, so I have yet to receive the John Chow Effect which is a jump in the Alexa ratings which means a nice jump in visitors. This is one of the nicest gifts john and Jeremy can give to a blogger like myself. so when and if I get t shirts it will be a great day.

Now I am going to start a little way to say thanks here on MoreMerchant.com. If you send a pen, t shirt, or anything with your website on it, I will also use it on MoreMerchant.com to link back to you. It it is a t shirt I will take a picture in it and give a nice little review of your site. If it is a pen I will give it away and also give a nice review and link. Whatever it is you will get some link love.

If you have something shoot me an email from the Contact page at the top of the site.

The Jake effect would be great, but I am just trying to create a site that is helpful to all of us.

A site that is interesting, insightful, and has a lot of community building.
