Always the family first then career/work/blogging. Posting everyday's not really advisable especially if you've got lots of traffic already. Maybe you could post at least 2-3 articles a week it's pretty fine. The content is what counts! And for an entrecard tip: keep on dropping cards and buying ads spaces especially the most recent sites that have joined. Also when checking out blogs leave a friendly comment on either their shoutboxes/comment spaces. Saying a few words of greetings won't hurt and may even brighten someone's day.
