I didn’t post any great and wise things yesterday. I worked all day then raced home picked up my son and headed for a Boy’s Night Out. We went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Houston. After that we sped on over to the Toyota Center for a Spurs and Rockets game. We love both teams but in the words of Brian Regan the Spurs are “More Favorite”. We love Duncan and the rest of ‘em. Before that Robinson was such an outstanding guy.
What is my blogging tip in all of this? coming…
I try to teach my son to root for both teams. Root for your team to win but root for both teams to play well. We never root against a team. Well sometimes we hope Kobe Bryant (of course with him the Lakers) will lose but we try not to voice it. If they could get rid of Kobe we could like the Lakers.
So anyone with any knowledge can’t boo the spurs. They don’t get in trouble, they play good basketball. They win. If they whine, who doesn’t in the NBA? So if you are a respectable person you should cheer for your team but not boo the other team. You see it is like this… I want my team to beat your team when they are at their best. If my team beats you when your player is hurt or the refs had their hand in it, it isn’t as fun. So we root for everyone, and then we root for my team smash your team into the mud.
What is my blogging tip in all of this? Root for your competition, but make sure you beat them when they are at their best. This is for all of business. Competition is good for business. The better they are the better you have to be.
