Cheapest Day to Buy Airline Tickets

I have had to purchase 10 airline tickets in the past 2 weeks for family events such as our vacation to McCall, Idaho next week and to Garretsville, OH for my sister-in-law’s wedding where I am the photographer and will also be officiating the wedding! Sure hard to top that!

Also with my job as corporate business manager my company also purchases a lot of tickets. Often time people think the weekend is the best time to purchase tickets, but this does not normally fit the mold that we have seen. To get the best rate I always purchase on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. These days I find are the best rates for airline tickets.

It doesn’t just save you change but can often save you hundreds. Also try flying on Tuesday as this also helps save money.
