Are you using Blogrush because some big dog in the internet is recommending that you stick with it? You are?! Wow and so are thousands of others.
How many people have come to your site via Blogrush? 1, 2, maybe 3? The big dogs aren’t seeing numbers that are a lot better when you look at the percentages. So why you ask are they using Blogrush?
How many referrals do you have? How many does let’s say JohnChow have? He has thousands, you have 0, maybe 1. John Chow knows that he will not get a large percentage of hits from having it on his site but if he can keep it on your site and the many thousands of others he referred he will get some decent traffic.
You see, once again the big dogs are using you and not telling you that they are thoroughly disgusted with the traffic percentages for the real estate they are giving up on their site. But, they are giving it up on your site and thousands others making it worth it.
Don’t be a follower. Lead the pack. It may be time to dump the BlogRush and put something that works better. You also need to realize the top dog bloggers are selling, and are salesman always the most honest?

I agree with you here. Most of the time when I see something on a big blog site, I’ll take note of the URL and visit it on my own, because they don’t need my help. It’d be better if it worked in the reverse manner, but that will never happen. Great post!

I am about to pull their widgets. They have someone else’s stats listed for one of my three blogs and no one writes back. They stink. I also only see one hit a day as a result. Big whoop.
Hi, I totally agree with your sentiments about many of the ‘A’ list bloggers. I liken many of them to used car salesmen, at least the ones that give used car salesmen a bad name.
It is the only reason why JohnChow and others are still using Blogrush.
All the little guys use it and benefit the big guys. Another things little bloggers do… they link the big bloggers in hopes that they get some love. They almost will never return in.
Little bloggers will do better 99.9% of the time picking another little blogger and building each other up.
