Is Alexa a better gauge of a website than Google Pagerank? I would have always said NO. Yet with this most recent update of Google’ pagerank we have seen how Google can manipulate the internet.
Spam sites still have pageranks of 4 – 5 while many good blogs are sitting at a 1 – 2. Alexa while not the best measure of a site it does measure. What does Google measure? Google can give you whatever number they want. While one can manipulate Alexa to a certain extent, one can not manipulate it as much as Google can manipulate their pagerank.
So I am saying from this point on I see more value in Alexa and their messed up charts than Google and their Dictatorship way of taking over the internet.
Help Root out the Evil Google Pagerank. Spread the news, that you are wasting money if you are purchasing due to Pagerank. Save your money and buy links based on alexa charts.

I think Google over calculate things. It seems Google have changed to many things which now gives false readings
