3 ways to Wii Your Way to the Top of Google

The Wii has taken the world by storm. It is beating the goals of Nintendo, and more games are being produced. How did Nintendo Wii take the world? How can you use 3 lessons from the Nintendo Wii to move your website to the top of Google?

1. Creative - The boys at Nintendo were creative, taking gaming to a different level. Can you do this with your website? Offer something different, and they will come.

2. Word of Mouth - Nintendo created a stir on the net for over a year before the Wii came out. The stir got bigger when other blogs got in on the game with an April Fool’s joke renaming it the Nintendo NPlay. The net talked about the Nintendo Wii for a long time. Your website needs to create a stir to attract people.

3. Take it to the People - Nintendo reached out taking the Nintendo Wii to malls across the world. This helped people see how the new system works. It caught my eye and I purchased one since I knew that the entire family would like it. Take your website to the people. Advertise, and promote your website via other sites. You can do this through commenting on other sites (don’t be a comment whore) and also guest writing. If you are interested in guest writing, tell other blogs that you will do it. Volunteer. I know I for one would be open to the idea. Just ask!

    Very creative way of relating Wii to blogging, and all 3 points make sense!

    Point #3 is especially important….you could have a stellar blog with many helpful tips for people, but if no one knows you’re there, you’re not helping anyone! ;)
