Suck it up and Pay off Debt

OK, stop the whining. It is time to grow up. You can’t afford to pay your bills? Why not? If you haven’t had a major medical incident, or a lay-off or something of similar nature then why not?

There are very few reasons you shouldn’t be able to pay your bills. Be an adult, suck it up, get another job and get your debt paid off. I am tired of excuses in life.

We are creating a culture of excuse. This excuse culture is ruining us as a country and a world. I am not seeing it in people’s kids. Remember your kids will not only practice what you live, they will magnify the problems.

So suck it up and as they say, “Be a Man About It.”

Entrecard is Dead

I killed Entrecard today. I removed it from MoreMerchant.com. I think it is a fun idea that has helped hundreds if not thousands of bloggers to develop blogs much quicker than if it was not around.

I do feel that Google may be punishing some people that use it. Also I feel that my advertisers do not like it as much either. Adsense and YPN do not want to pay as much per click. This could be due to the summer doldrums, or as I think both the summer doldrums and advertisers not liking Entrecard viewers.

So would I use Entrecard again? You bet I would. On the right blog at the right time I would definitely use Entrecard. It can help you get a blog off the ground quicker, thus weight your options and choose Entrecard if it can help you. But, and this is a big but… Know when to kill Entrecard.

Looking for a WordPress Theme $500

I am thinking of overhauling the MoreMerchant.com WordPress Theme. Are you a WordPress Theme Designer? Here is what I want:

Unique (only to be used on MoreMerchant.com) and Creative Theme. It must work well with monetization techniques. It must be youthful yet authoritative. You can use MoreMerchant.com as an advertisement for your services.

ScribeFire Rapid Blogging

Today I installed ScribeFire. This is a tool that works with Firefox as an extension to make blogging quicker and easier. So far so good.

A few options are the best. For instance when I quoted the below statement from the definition of ScribeFire it wouldn’t allow me to break the quotes after and continue typing without it being indented.
