Moving Subdomain Blog to its Own Domain

I have a niche blog on a subdomain. The niche has really taken off and done nicely. It makes me around $1000 per month without even trying (Yahoo Publisher and Google Adsense only). As part of my yearly goals I have decided to move this to its own domain and better monetize the site.

If you have any tips or have accomplished this type of move please let us know with a comment below.

Then American Airlines (AA) announced they were charging for the first checked bag. This is overboard, but I can live with it I suppose. It would be nice if I knew that this would translate to lower fares for those that don’t check luggage to compensate for less work by airline employees, but I know it won’t.

All it will translate to is fatter bonuses for corporate top dogs.
