Pagerank Changes Mostly Negative Press for Google

This Pagerank hasn’t affected our visitor count at all. In fact most sites have been up when compared to the week before. Of course the good news on our sites is that only 1 was knocked down a bit. The funny thing is that this one hasn’t sold any links. The only advertising is through YPN.

So Pagerank changes have been a flop so far. Mostly negative press for Google.

If you have heard that Pagerank is being updated you are correct. Pagerank drops seem to be the thing so far.
The good news for MoreMerchant.com is that it hasn’t dropped. The pagerank for MoreMerchant.com is a 4. We were hoping for a 5, but with drops for many other sites this means MoreMerchant.com basically got a pagerank increase.

Is an about me page important? Does making an about me page seem easy? It does? If so then how come your about me page stinks? If you say it is important than why do you ignore it?

When making an about me page consider who you are writing it for. Nobody goes to an about me page except someone who is an avid reader. I goto a few about me pages a week. I goto these about me pages because of one thing. I like your site and am interested to know who you are.

So do you see why an about me page is important? You can add validity to your site if I know you are an expert in the field that you are writing about. You write a blog about blogging yet your about me page is still the default WordPress about me page. Are you sure this is professional looking? It makes you have no credibility whatsoever.
