My friend at Derek Semmler has an interesting post about writing about Crocs (CROX) the sandal/shoe that is being worn by an ever growing number of people including myself. I have the open toe kind that look a bit more normal and I like them although lately I have been waring a flip-flop by Reef that I love.
What Derek found was that his post on Crocs made it on the finance page of Yahoo and Google. This turned into over 100 visitors and many of them made comments. Fantastic news I say! What a great way to market. Target companies that are publicly traded. Get on these finance paged which will turn to great viewers and commentors to your blog.
So if it is Crox or Alcoa (AA), possibly a bit of Yhoo, it may be worth a try.

Marketing Trip Over now some great Blogging Posts

I am back from So Cal. Had a great time. Lived it up with some of the best rooms that Marriott offers with excellent concierge service and the rest. Fantastic for sure. Venice beach was very nice this time of year as was San Diego.
I will get back to posting more regularly on blogging, making and saving money as well as marketing tips now that I am back. Although, while I was gone there were some great posts on moremerchant.com.

Discounts Available Just ASK
Do you know that saving money on the things you purchase like hotel rooms, clothes and anything else is as easy ask asking for a discount?
Have you ever been in the military? If so you can save hundreds. Every time I stay at a hotel I ask for the military discount and almost every time save 20 - 50%. This week I stayed on the top floor with all the benefits of the concierge level for over 66% off the regular price. This room is overlooking the ocean as well as part of the city.
Often clothing stores give discounts for active and retired military. The discount is yours for the asking.
That is just one way. Do you have AAA, there are many discounts available. If you part of other groups, clubs. etc. there are discounts there. Just ask.
Stop throwing away money and ask! You will love saving the money.

Blog Marketing 101

Marketing in Southern California is 1 day from being done. Well not done, just beginning but this trip is almost done. Of course does marketing stop when you leave? NO WAY! It is just beginning. The follow-up is key.
This is true in all forms of business. If you are blogging for dollars, then follow-up is key. Follow up comments with emails. Make contact with other blog owners and go the extra mile. Take blogging to an entirely new level by doing more than posting.
Have you ever sent a gift to someone from your website? Try it, you will be amazed. Have you done the most basic and emailed another blogger? Try it, it may help you out. I know that I promote those other bloggers that have taken time to contact me and let me know they are thankful for the help I have given.
So give it a shot. Take blog marketing to an all new level.
